Justin Seecharan

My interest in journalism started back in high school where I was on the news crew for three years. I anchored, edited, produced, and fell in love with the potential in that career path. Senior year I was on our award winning yearbook staff, The Stampede, and expanded my view on journalism to the print format.

After going on a personal mental health journey, I went back to college at Hillsborough Community College. There I wrote a few pieces for the Hawkeye during the pandemic. I transferred to the University of South Florida, and started in Fall 2022. I am now working at the student paper, The Oracle. I have made a few broadcast pieces for The Z Cast. Spring 2023 holds so many opportunities to do more, see more, and be more.
